Clara Helps is a free helper for your web browser. It explains each step of renewing SNAP (food benefits) and Medicaid on YourTexasBenefits.com, in plain English or Spanish. You fill in your own forms. The guide helps you understand them.

- Free. The guide costs nothing. No ads and no paid version. Donations keep it running.
- Private. Your answers stay on your computer. We never see them. No accounts and no tracking.
- You stay in control. The guide suggests. You decide. It never clicks Submit, signs or sends anything for you.
What the guide doesn't do
- It doesn't decide if you qualify. Only the state can do that.
- It doesn't send your form. You press the website's own buttons.
- It does nothing on sign-in pages. You sign in yourself.
- It can't see or change your case.
