For partners
Food banks, libraries, clinics, Community Partners and other groups help people with benefits every day. The guide is free for you and for the people you help.
How you can use it
- On your public computers. Add the guide and turn on public-computer mode, so nothing is saved after each person leaves.
- Sitting with someone. The guide explains each page. The person reads along, types their answers and decides what to send.
- On paper or by phone. Print the step-by-step guides or share the link. They work on any phone, without the extension.
Ask first
- Help only when the person asks for help. It's their case and their choice.
- Let them type their own answers when they can. They press Submit themselves.
- Don't save someone else's answers on your computer. Use public-computer mode.
- When they're done, make sure they sign out and close every browser window.
- Don't keep copies of their papers, case numbers or answers.
What we don't do
- We are not part of HHSC, and we don't run the Community Partner program.
- We don't collect anything about the people you help. No accounts, no reports, no tracking. That means we can't count how many people use it. Your stories by email help us a lot.
