Renew Medicaid or CHIP
Medicaid and CHIP last 12 months. HHSC first tries to renew you automatically, and your letter (Form H1211) says if you need to do anything. If it asks for more facts, fill out the renewal form and send the items listed, usually within 30 days. Turn it in before coverage ends so coverage keeps going while HHSC decides; 30 days early or more gives HHSC time to finish before your end date.
Draft: these steps are still being checked. Always follow what the official website says.
